Alex- This is so upsetting. I am greatly relieved to know that you are safe. I'll be praying for you and all of your classmates.
I hope you and your friends are safe and sound, I go to NIU, and am still shocked.
This is all just so sad.
Oh, thank goodness you're ok! This is such a tragedy. I thought NIU was your school when I was watching the story on the news this a.m., but I wasn't sure. I'm keeping you and everyone at your school in my thoughts!

I heard about this late last night, and wanted to check to make sure you were ok. This is so sad and makes me so angry. Why do poeple feel they have the right to do this?? What makes me even angrier, is I heard this was the fifth school shooting in a week. What is going on in the world?

I just keep asking myself, what is wrong with people!? maybe there is some goodnesss left in the world...I just got back from that iron & wine concert (remember?) and it was truly amazing and beautiful.
I went to music shop after you told me about Iron and Wine, and (with upset 9 month old baby in tow) couldn't find the CD but did find the vinyl. Sadly, I couldnt justify spending the money - I think I would listen to the CD more. My eyes are still open though!! PS really like your new profile picture, so pretty.
